On the 4 and 5 of October 2022, the Project organised a two-day training for the implementation of RPL as Active Labour Market Measure (ALMM) to 64 management and staff members of EARK and VTCs.
The training was organized in the framework of the establishment and provision of RPL system at national level and inclusion of RPL in the Regulation as Active Labour Market Measure (ALMM). The RPL component has been included in the regulation as ALMM and the two related manuals have been reviewed: (1) The Operational Manual for Employment Services Provision developed in 2015 and (2) Operational Manual for Training and Re-Training. The review of the manuals was followed by the development of the digital module within the EARK’s Employment Management Information System (EMIS) to operationalise RPL as ALMM.

The objective of the training was to increase the capacities of the management and the staff of EARK and all VTCs for the implementation of the digital module. The event enabled the members to present the changes that have been made in the EMIS, demonstrate the digital module to operationalize RPL as ALMM, train and support the staff of EARK and VTCs to implement the digital module, explain step-by-step procedures to ensure consistency and quality during delivery of vocational training services for jobseekers in all VTCs, set a standard for service delivery at all VTCs in Kosovo, facilitate the work of EARK and VTCs and strengthen cooperative relations between the Project, EARK and VTCs for future activities.

The project will continue supporting EARK and VTCs in all the planned activities until the successful implementation of RPL as ALMM.
