In the framework of the establishment of RPL system at national level, the project successfully held an information session on the accreditation process on 12th of May 2022. The aim of this this event was to present the procedures and the process of accreditation to future RPL providers. The event was organized in cooperation with the National Qualification Authority (NQA) as the direct beneficiary of the project and EdGuard Institute, as the implementing partner of the project. The event started with a presentation from Mrs Donjeta Nimani, the expert of RPL at the National Qualification Authority, on the processes and procedures for the accreditation process as foreseen by the current legal provisions.

High interest was demonstrated in the provision of RPL services, whereby about sixty (60) institutions, including public schools, private VET providers and training centres participated in the event. During the event, the representatives of VET institutions raised important questions and sought relevant information pertaining the institutional accreditation process.

On behalf of the project, the expert covering the component of RPL, Mr Hajdin Berisha thanked all the institutions for the great cooperation on the establishment of RPL system at national level. ESVET PRO will continue the provision of support to the institutions at central and local level for the establishment of a robust and sustainable RPL system. With this context, the project will soon begin with the training of experts who will be part of the evaluation teams in the accreditation process and the training of RPL practitioners.
